The role…
The Programmer Analyst II serves as a lead programmer in support of IT and strategic initiatives throughout the organization. This position works closely with business analysts, testing analysts, and department subject matter experts to deliver custom applications and other innovative solutions. Development solutions should progress through the System Development Life Cycle, including initiation, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life…
As a Programmer Analyst, your day may consist of:
Providing efficient solutions to resolving technical problems
Working collaboratively with technical and non-technical members
Utilizing the System Development Life Cycle including initiation, concept development, planning, requirement analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance
Leading a team as a subject matter expert in projects
Qualifications:
To do this successfully you:
Have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
Have a technical degree in Computer Engineering, CPA, or related
Have 5 years of related experience or training
Have 5 years of management experience
Advanced understanding of:ASP.NET/Core Frameworks
Object-Oriented C#, WPF, MeteorJS, Python
Object-Oriented JAVA EE, HTML5, JavaScript
CSS, XML, and PHP
Database architecture experience with: Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and Mongo DB
Other helpful experience: XML, IIS, Web Services, SOAP, NGINX, JDBC, and ODBC
Website development, mobile application development, and connectivity
