Position Title: F-35 Introduction to Service Analyst, Journeyman

Job Description: The Introduction to Service (ITS) Analyst serves as a member of the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Lightning Site Activation (LSA) team that is responsible for standing up new F-35 units for the US Air Force, US Navy, US Marine Corps, Partner countries, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries around in the United States and around the world. This position supports the stand up of F-35 capabilities for the Republic of Korea Air Force.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the F-35 JPO Korea Program Manager and the Korea Logistics and Sustainment Manager by leading the planning and presentations for working groups, site standups, logistics readiness reviews, and key integrated logistic support engagements
Driving and achieve logistics support objectives, including life cycle support, configuration data management, reliability, maintainability and availability
Assisting in developing and maintaining all sustainment plans and site execution events
Interfacing with Korean Air Force representatives
Requirements
SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR
BA/BS degree (An additional four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree)
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in military aircraft maintenance and/or logistics experience
Demonstrated experience within military aviation operations, procurement, budget, or logistics environments
Knowledge of military aviation life cycle logistics infrastructure and processes
Knowledge of program management and acquisition logistics
Ability to interpret complex numerical and written data to determine analysis
Familiar with Microsoft Office Program Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project)
Desired:
Fighter aircraft bed-down experience
F-35 aircraft maintenance experience
Knowledge of supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, and program management logistics
Knowledge of Security Assistance (SA) and Security Cooperation (SC) programs, including the FMS sales process, including case development, implementation, execution, and closure
Functional knowledge of project management methodologies
Knowledge of defense contracting
Ability to prepare and present convincing oral and written presentations to various levels of government and industry management to effectively justify recommendations
Ability to defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans
Possession of excellent diplomatic skills
