Data Architect with ETRM (Energy, Trading and Risk Management)
Look from oil and gas company background will be a good fit.
Role Description : Data Architect 10 to 15 years of experience
The key responsibilities will be
Develop data architecture and lead the delivery of end-to-end data, integration, reporting solution for Utilities Systems cloud and hybrid hosting
Analyze business requirements, conduct data & integration impact analysis.
Develop enterprise data landscape, conceptual data model and logical data model
Understanding of data requirements for ETRM systems and associated data structures (Risk, Pricing, Contracts etc)
Develop physical data modelling and database designs.
Design databases to meet and exceed different non fictional requirements High availability, zero data loss, cyber security, high resilience, high performance, structured and un-structured data, time series data with resolution of as low as 10 ms, huge volumetric.
Design data migration, data quality solution.
Support Business Analysts and Solutions architects to design the systems.
Conduct Database activities such as database creation, management, testing, programming on database, data engineering, reverse data engineering, reporting, analytics, data migration etc based on project requirement
Lead data engineers/development to implement the solutions as per design
Mandatory data skills
Data and Integration Architecture
Expertise in one or many of below
Oracle/MySQL database design and development
Mongodb /Casandra design and development
Azure Data Architecture
Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Ability to lead and guide data team in the project/program and get the work done.
Data Landscape ( As-Is and To-Be ) and Data Flows
Conceptual Data Model and Canonical Modelling
Logical Data Model and Physical Data Model
Data Definition and Integration specification
DDL , DML , DCL , TCL concepts and scripting
Data engineering and reverse data engineering
Master Data and Data Management
Data Entity to Application mapping - Master , Create , Update , Read & Delete
Requirements analysis , data impact analysis , integration impact analysis
Data Entity and Attribute Definition Data constraints, validation rules , consistency and defaulting rules Tools Sparx EA , SQL developer , Toad etc.
Database programming - PL/SQL and similar ones
Application of Data science for energy/electricity forecasting
Experience in architecting Python, R , mongo db, oracle db based forecasting solution hosted in cloud.
Experience/knowledge on Talend , ADF and SOA based data integration
Experience in implementation of reporting and visualization solution using Power BI
