Clinical Applications Support Application Development Advisor
Position Overview:
The job profile for this position is Application Development Advisor.
This role will be responsible for working on a Lift and Shift project to migrate existing production applications and integrations to a new data center and servers as part of the divestiture of Medicare Advantage and Care Allies from Client to HCSC. The individual in this role should have a varied background including experience in large scale architecture migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Application Development assignments/projects
Works closely with client and technology management and staff to identify application architecture currently in production from end to end
Collaborates closely with development team members to request hardware, map integrations, and catalog user and service account access required to support all current assets in a new datacenter seamlessly.
Documents, tests, implements and provides ongoing support for new architecture as it is built.
Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives
Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders
Will oversee production deployments and provide system checkout once deployment is complete
Focuses on providing thought leadership within Application Development but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business
Perform occasional off hours/on call work
Required Experience / Qualifications:
Previous hands-on roles in large system conversions or mergers, where it was necessary to analyze all existing processes and ensure no gaps upon conversion.
Apache Maven
SAML, C#, HTML, Linux, ISAM, SQL
Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving abilities
Solid verbal and written communication with a focus on delivering superior customer service to all internal and external organizational levels
Highly responsive and organized individual, who can quickly jump on issues as they arise
Prior Healthcare Technology experience
Desired Experience / Qualifications:
Understanding of Medicare and/or Medicaid industries
