Job Requirements / Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Core Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and delivering code for regulatory event processing and order state management, error handling, regulatory reporting and similar system supporting changes for the regulations
Requirements:
5+ years of recent Core Java development experience (Java 8)
Experience in developing large scale, fault tolerance systems with Kafka, Storm, NoSQL databases
Experience developing distributed multi-threaded systems
Understanding of object-oriented design and development principles
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity
Proficiency in SQL and database technologies
Desired Skills:
Experience with DevOps model and solutions like Ansible
Experience in the financial industry
