Position Overview
The Business System Analyst II will serve as the primary systems manager for a designated set of platforms within our Digital Strategy division. This role involves conducting needs assessments and cost/benefit analyses to align technology with business strategies, while working closely with internal stakeholders to optimize business and end-user value.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for new features, systems, and enhancements
Collaborate with vendors to ensure system solutions meet business requirements
Interface with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to identify business, financial, and operational requirements
Present new systems/applications to Application and Architecture Review Board
Lead design sessions and prototype new functionality to enhance business processes
Develop and maintain technical documentation including data flow diagrams and workflows
Conduct systems analysis focusing on gap identification
Optimize systems and operational workflows
Establish control points in new systems designs
Review existing systems’ effectiveness and develop improvement strategies
Ensure proper support structure and documentation prior to production deployment
Perform troubleshooting and incident management
Present changes to Change Control Board
Lead system and unit testing efforts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience
Strong IT background with understanding of banking operations and processes
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Proven research capabilities for systems issues and products
Ability to communicate technical concepts in user-friendly language
Strong critical thinking and process engineering skills
Experience with workflow analysis and task prioritization
Track record of working in collaborative, customer-centric environments
Knowledge of corporate security policies and user access management

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60 to $65/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
