Job Requirements / Description
The client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with substantial experience and expertise in network administration, design, and troubleshooting. Key aspects include:
Responsibilities:
Adherence to SLAs and ensuring maximum uptime.
Mentoring team members and handling escalated technical issues.
Conducting root cause analysis, managing tickets/requests, and ensuring process compliance.
Responsible for installations, configurations, migrations, and maintaining test environments.
Providing suggestions for new technologies and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Managing and monitoring SLA requirements, testing, and auditing processes.
Technology Expertise:
Proficiency in routers (Cisco, Avaya/Extreme, Juniper), switches, firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet), and WLAN technologies (Cisco, Aruba).
Knowledge of tools like Infoblox for IPAM, Riverbed for WAN optimization, and Bluecoat for packet shaping.
Strong experience with load balancers (F5 Big IP LTM/GTM), Cisco Nexus, Juniper SRX series, and Fortigate.
Capable of troubleshooting routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in network administration in large enterprise environments.
Industry certifications (e.g., CCIE R&S, CISSP, ITIL v3/v4).
Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN/WAN architecture, data center technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
