Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into digital solutions.
Design end-to-end solutions that integrate various healthcare systems, applications, and data sources to improve operational efficiency and patient care.
Develop architectural designs, specifications, and implementation plans for digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the healthcare industry, and make recommendations for adoption based on their potential impact and value.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and support.
Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
Work closely with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and IT professionals, to gather requirements and address concerns.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
Minimum 8 years in a related IT or Engineering discipline Minimum of 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry.
Deep understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and FHIR.
Proficiency in architecting solutions using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with healthcare-specific cloud services.
Experience with healthcare information systems, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and Population Health Management (PHM) platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
