Associate Software Engineer

Job Description

This role is a part of the Platform Development and Engineering Experience (PDEX) team. The PDEX teams define, operate and promote consistent tools and processes across internal developer tools. We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our experienced software design team. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and assist with all functions of software coding and design

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable code integration, testing and deployment with GitHub Actions

Contribute to Release Engineering teams best practices, guidelines, and services.

Maintain documentation for release processes, configuration and deployment guidelines.

Participate in agile software development process to facilitate smooth project execution.

Support enterprise tooling like GitHub, Nexus, and SonarQube for a large engineering community across NBCUniversal.
