Leidos Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a Major Command Coordination Center (MCCC) Operations Support Analyst Specialist in support of the AFNCR IT Services program. The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), leased spaces, and alternate sites. The MCCC represents AFDW equities and priorities to the AFIN Mission Assurance Center (AMAC), DoD and AF Component. The MCCC coordinates, tracks and reports on all higher headquarter messages, orders, and directives. They will maintain communications and coordination between internal and external service providers in order to maintain situational awareness over the AFDW portion of the AFIN.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Evaluate orders / directives to assess applicability to the mission, to include scope of impacted missions and internal tasked organizations.

Must be able to Translate senior leader guidance and direction and transform that into the right internal actions with minimal follow-up. 

Engage various technical experts and mission partners to take a coherent picture to manage overall risk, level of effort, completion criteria, timeline, and mission impact of downward directed actions.  

Fully responsible for coordinating, tracking and reporting on all cyber messages, orders and directives issued through Geographic and Functional Combatant Commands, (JFHQ-DoDIN, AFCYBEDR, or AFDW) to senior stakeholders.

Manage and prepare AoR specific information/data to be presented in daily briefings to senior level leadership. 

Act as AFNCR representative with external support agencies in order to deconflict unclear guidance and actions with Geographic and Functional Combatant Commands, JFHQ-DoDIN, AFCYBER, and DISA J6.

Represents AFDW equities and priorities to the AFIN Mission Assurance Center (AMAC), DoD and AF Component.

Manage correspondence and directives to ensure actions to close an order are complete and meet stakeholder / Enterprise quality criteria. 

Coordinate and track schedules to facilitate completion of tasks and deliverables, briefings/presentations, and project reviews.

Advise the AFDW/CC, AFDW/A3/5/6, and 844 CG/CC on completion of cyber orders or inability to complete assigned tasks pertaining to AFNET, PMO, and AFDW-unique systems as required/directed by the AFDW/CC or delegated authority.

Advise AFDW Leadership, MAJCOM/CCs, AFCYBER (and subordinate units), DISA J6, on operational impacts of cyber orders to component missions.

Coordinate and manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), with Geographic and Functional Combatant Commands, JFHQ-DoDIN, AFCYBER (and subordinate units), or DISA J6 to resolve operational impact issues when relief of orders is granted.

Ensures waivers / delayed actions (POA&Ms) have merit and the right quality and rigor.

Evaluate if a POA&M is actionable in the timeframe stated and that timeframe and plan is acceptable in relation to the risk associated with it.

Provide direct follow-up with the owning organizations to keep them on the agreed timelines.

Escalates to senior government if or when the waiver / POA&M owner is unresponsible or uncooperative.

Utilize experience and knowledge to determine alternate solutions or disconnection / quarantines actions. 

Create and foster key stakeholder relationships with internal and external partners to drive timely and appropriate mission response. 

Must be available for 40-hour work week with the potential for off hours on-call response.

Basic Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of related experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Security+CE or equivalent level certification.

Currently possess a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

Experience with Air Force DOD IT networks/infrastructure.

Know how to track all Directives from USCYBERCOM or JFHQ-DODIN.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Specifically Excel).

Be able to brief status to leadership.

Familiar with ACT, ACAS, Vulnerabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Can assist owners with how to write POA&Ms.

Good Organization and Time Management/Prioritization.

Can handle additional task coverage for team members as needed.

Experience working in high visibility positions.

Ability to meet or exceed the customer needs and expectations.
