A day in the life:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, leading the development of advanced software solutions across a variety of platforms. From the CVRx implanted pulse generator (IPG) and external programming system (PGM) to essential business applications like Salesforce, Azure, and QAD, your work will drive transformation. You'll also design custom tools that boost operational efficiency—think automated label printing, inspection systems, and more.
In this dynamic role, you'll architect, define, and document cutting-edge software, ensuring flawless performance across all platforms. Your leadership will shape the future of data management tools and business analytics, seamlessly integrating them into core database systems. Your expertise will inspire the team to break new ground and redefine the possibilities of software development.
Requirements
What we expect from you:
BS Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and 8 plus years' experience.
Experience/knowledge relating to a wide variety of software platforms.
Experience with monitoring, assessing and minimizing cybersecurity risk (including protected health information data privacy).
Proven ability to work with a team collaborating, mentoring and contributing a broad range of skill sets.
Ability to document solutions in a way that is easily understood by both software team members and non-technical staff, using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and clear requirements.
Ability to generate clear and properly commented code.
What we would like to see:
Experience with Visual Basic and C#.
Experience with software development within web hosted applications (i.e. Salesforce, Azure, QAD, GitHub, Intune, etc.).
Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) (i.e. GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience leading or working with CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile teams.
Familiarity with Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
Working Conditions:
Hybrid work may be offered minimum of 3 days per week at the CVRx office.
Normal R&D laboratory and office conditions when working in the office.
Capability of lifting light loads.
Occasional driving.
Occasional travel (including airline) up to 15% of the time; including international travel.
May be required to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and other diseases.
