Summary:
CommunityAmerica Credit Union seeks two Senior Software Engineers for Lenexa, Kansas.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Senior Software Engineers will design and develop complete cloud based microservices and integration solutions for Community America Credit Union (CACU). Be an active contributor, mentor, hands on developer of a serverless architecture migration strategy and be a part of an exciting team that works on digital transformation, creation of horizontal and vertical scale technologies, and containerization of serverless services. Define effective integration principles using our distributed microservices Architecture. Develop design principles, code design patterns, framework definitions that will be used to develop microservices for CACU’s enterprise integration platform. Contribute digital transformation strategy from API design standpoint, define reusable services on serverless architecture. Design API specific to Digital Transformation of CACU’s digital applications, develop reusable services. Coordinate work in small cross-functional teams to deliver production ready software on time. Work with other cross functional teams such as Sales Force, Core Platform, other vendors, develop APIs meeting those requirements. Advocate for a solid technical Approach and influence peers. Contribute to the choice and use of technology and work with peers and advocate for the right design, development and architectural strategies. Perform additional software engineer duties, as assigned.

Requirements:
Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

7 years of progressive experience which must include experience in the following:

 

Develop enterprise API solutions and microservices.

Java

Java based microservices framework (e.g.: Spring Boot/Micronaut/Quarkus/Play Framework/Vertex etc.)

RxJava

Experience with API Gateway platforms, ex, Axway

Solid understanding of Azure cloud platform

Cosmos or any NoSQL database

Mule Anypoint

Kubernetes

Docker

Demonstrated knowledge of the following:

API design, Integrations, REST, JSON, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ

Various integration patterns, Microservices design patterns
