About the Role:
We seek a skilled Enterprise Data Architect responsible for designing and implementing robust data architectures that support our client's strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of Databricks, Epic Clarity Data Model, data engineering, data governance, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building scalable data solutions and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance data architectures using Databricks and other modern data technologies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and teams to understand data requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
Develop and maintain data models, data integration frameworks, and data pipelines to support analytical and operational use cases.
Leverage expertise in the Epic Clarity Data Model to integrate and optimize healthcare data for analytics and reporting.
Ensure data quality, data governance, and data security best practices are followed across the organization.
Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to enhance data accessibility and performance.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and other team members.
Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data architecture and analytics capabilities.
Develop and enforce data management policies and standards.
Lead data migration and data integration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect, preferably in an enterprise Epic environment.
Expertise in Databricks, including Databricks Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Databricks MLflow.
Strong knowledge of the Epic Clarity Data Model
Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications in Databricks, Epic, or cloud platforms are a plus.
