P-DPD-001
Support of existing and new Capital Automation projects. Such projects will include that for PLC and HMI automated control system platforms. This job function shall be performed under the leadership and direction of and development by our corporate automation manager.
Responsibilities:
Create, develop and document Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs for industrial control systems.
Create and read logic flow diagrams for implementing program design, program execution, simulation and testing, acceptance, and start-up.
Program Human Machine Interface (HMI) Graphic Screens for industrial projects
Provide technical support, problem solving, modifications, and continuous improvement for automated control systems.
Support multiple communications media and protocol such as Wired, Wireless, Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP
Develop and Support computer hardware purchases and configurations to aide in program input and execution
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field required
Prefer 1-2 years of experience in the electrical or process control environment.
Proven experience in PLC Logic and programming, as well as in HMI systems and related hardware/software
Exposure to Allen Bradly and Siemens PLC knowledge is preferred
Competency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings
Positive attitude and willing to work toward team goals
Candidate is to be motivated, self-driven, well organized, and detail oriented
Ability to work independently while also functioning as a team player
The candidate is to have good inter-personal communication, verbal and written skills (English Language)
MSHA Safety certification is preferred but not required. Training will be provided if necessary
Travel up to 30% for site support.
