Principal ServiceNow Enterprise Architect
Hybrid WFH – onsite 1-2 days/week, WFH 3-4 days/week
Summary
You will be joining at a time where our organization is undergoing a major transformation in IT, where we're making a big push to the cloud (Azure), and implementing new enterprise solutions for the first time such as Salesforce and Mulesoft. With all of this change, and ServiceNow having been a critical function for our global enterprise for a number of years, we are looking for a Principal Enterprise Architect to drive the ServiceNow architecture, and lead a ServiceNow technical team, to ensure the overarching enterprise architecture is aligned to optimize the ServiceNow environment. As such, we are looking for architects as the Principal level, that have global architecture experience, ServiceNow architecture (including App Engine design patterns and best practices) experience, TOGAF experience and experience leading ServiceNow technical teams.
What you'll be doing
Partake in the development of ServiceNow application architecture, including the Target State Application Architecture that addresses the Statement of Architecture Work and stakeholder expectations.
Ensuring that ServiceNow architectures are aligned with the organization's overall solution goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain reference architecture, architecture building blocks (ABB), standards, and guidelines to ensure that the organization's technology is secure and compliant with industry standards.
Identify areas for capability improvement and implementing strategies and roadmaps to address them.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and participate in prioritization initiatives.
Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and developments and evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
Communicating technology target state, roadmap, and development progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Skills we're seeking
7+ years of experience with ServiceNow Architecture – more experience the better with ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CMDB, APM, SPM, App Engine
Global Enterprise Architecture experience
Strong TOGAF experience
Experience leading technical ServiceNow teams
Experience interfacing with key business and IT stakeholders to drive solutions forward
Excellent communication skills
Nice to haves
ServiceNow Technical or Master Architect certification
TOGAF certification
Architecture experience with Azure, Salesforce and/or Mulesoft
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an IT related field
