Overview:
Trissential is seeking a Software Developer – Level III Integration Developer to join our client team remotely in Minneapolis, MN. This is your opportunity to take a leading role in shaping key API-driven integrations that will power critical internal systems and, occasionally, support third-party solutions. With your deep expertise in API development, particularly with Apigee and Informatica, you’ll drive innovative solutions that adapt and evolve alongside the business's growing needs. Your leadership will guide the team toward AWS-based solutions, positioning you to have a significant impact on how the team and its projects move forward. As a senior-level contributor, you’ll provide both technical leadership and mentorship in an Agile environment, working closely with peers, product owners, and solution architects to ensure success. Responsibilities:
You’ll lead the development and management of API integrations using Apigee and Informatica, with a focus on future AWS integrations

You’ll follow the company’s software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs

You’ll assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents to customize software that meets application needs

You’ll review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, providing valuable feedback to ensure quality and consistency

You’ll collaborate with other development staff to achieve consistent, high-quality software delivery

You’ll participate in architecture, design, and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and alignment with project goals

You’ll develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation, ensuring all stages of development are well-documented

You’ll analyze system specifications and design, develop, modify, and install highly complex and customized software

You’ll actively participate in the escalation of live errors and service issues, limiting downtime and resolving problems swiftly

You’ll recognize and solve inconsistencies in detailed technical specifications, proposing changes when necessary

Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in API development and integration, particularly with Apigee and Informatica

Advanced knowledge of integration patterns and processes, with an ability to lead end-to-end integration solutions

Strong AWS experience, including SNS, SQS, and Lambda, with a focus on future AWS-based projects

Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle complex integration issues and drive successful outcomes

Essential skills:
Proven expertise in API integration, with a strong focus on Apigee and Informatica

Leadership in integration design and architecture, offering guidance to both peers and junior developers

Effective communicator and collaborator, capable of leading technical discussions and influencing project direction

Ability to prioritize tasks from a structured backlog while mentoring others

Desired skills:
API design experience (nice to have)

Experience within regulated or utilities industries is beneficial

Experience:
8+ years of API development and integration experience, with a focus on leadership and technical strategy

Benefits:
Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $139,360 to $149,760 annually depending on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
