Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) with a focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM). This role involves working closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement SCM modules to optimize our operations.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for SCM processes and reporting.
Solution Design: Design and propose solutions within D365 F&O to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability.
Implementation: Lead stabilizing and adding new functionalities in modules including Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Production Control, Master Planning, and Procurement.
Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of implemented solutions.
Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of the system including creating and maintaining user guides.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Keep updated on planned service outages and feature releases with Microsoft. Coordinate with the BSA, technical team and business stakeholders.
Support any audit and user security reporting requirements.
Continuously look for opportunities to innovate, automate and bring efficiency to the platform
Collaborate with other IT functional teams as needed (e.g. Infrastructure, Security, Change Management)
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: At least 4 years of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst or in a comparable role in addition to 6 to 8 years of experience specifically focusing on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), particularly within Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in D365 F&O, particularly in SCM modules. Experience with EDI, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing and understanding of user access and different license levels in F&O are highly desirable.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in SCM or related areas.
Industry Experience: Experience in process manufacturing industry.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Travel Requirements: 10-15%
