The Learning Management Systems Administrator provides technical leadership in the support of Celanese’s learning management system (LMS) – SAP SuccessFactors. This position is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions. The Learning Management System Administrator is the primary system administrator for Celanese’s LMS and oversees 40+ site admins. Work is performed under the supervision of the Global Learning & Development Director.

General LMS Administration

Publish and manage all forms of learning content in the LMS, including individual on-demand and instructor-led courses, curricula, and programs - using correct domains, libraries, and categories within LMS.

Assign learning content either one by one, by mass upload, or by assignment profiles

Create, audit, and maintain all assignment profiles used across the organization for learning assignments

Create learner progress and completion reports as requested by departments or for learning campaigns

Builds online assessments and evaluations in LMS for courses

Manages tracking of course revisions and history

Review and resolve daily user help tickets, and provide troubleshooting assistance for users. Work with the instructional technologist and instructional designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content

Partner with internal stakeholders to rollout learning campaigns across the organization using LMS, that may include identification of specific audiences, assignment of content to very large audiences, and follow-up reporting

Manage license provisioning, access, reporting, and assignments for external e-learning platform

 

Site LMS Admin Oversite

Oversee site LMS admin community, including process & policy adherence and best practice sharing

Provide both new and refresher training to site admins

Support sites admins in internal and external learning audits

Support functional admins on use of external e-learning platform

 

LMS Governance and Strategy

Drive LMS Strategy for enterprise use, implement and fully leverage learning technology that meets the needs of the business and improves the employee experience

Implement and own LMS governance process for enterprise and site LMS admins that is sustainable and scalable, to ensure data within our learning platforms is accurate

Write and maintain technical procedures and policy documentation

Perform routine audits on LMS courses for utilization, archival and adherence to governance standards

Manage user interface areas of LMS including functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings.

Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements in LMS system and processes,  providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements

Work in conjunction with HR-IT on all systematic LMS upgrades, vendor integrations, and responsible for user testing and communication to LMS administrators.

Manage all LMS related projects from a business user perspective

 

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

5-10 years of Corporate LMS Administration Experience

Solid understanding of LMS functionality, including content management, assignments and assignment profiles, reporting, domains, libraries, users, batch runs, and overall structure

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines, working in a fast-paced environment

Solid MS Office skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,

Customer service skills, responsive attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in layman’s terms

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Success Factors a plus

Ability to gain new technical skills quickly

Experience in Collaborating in SharePoint

Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration

Project management skills

Experience working within multiple projects and with various global stakeholders
