Job Description
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team and help our client deliver dependable and secure IT services alongside comprehensive business service support that not only fulfills but surpasses customer expectations. This is a full-time, onsite, and long-term contract position.
The role encompasses a blend of project management, operations & maintenance (O&M), server upkeep, and the advancement of the client's existing ServiceNow Deployment.
What You'll Do
Administer, develop, test, implement, and maintain the operating system and related software
Establish and enforce computer operation standards for hardware-software compatibility
Resolve software, operating system, and networking issues
Schedule and monitor system backups and perform data recoveries when necessary
Recommend hardware and software enhancements
Schedule, plan, and execute system upgrades
Configure various hardware devices
Provide technical support to system users
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or related field
Proven track record with ServiceNow platform management, including ITSM, Security Operations, Strategic Portfolio Management, IT Operations, and IT Asset Management modules
Experience with system migrations and quality assurance testing
Proficiency in ServiceNow administration and development
Strong understanding of IT service management and business processes
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Preferred:
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification is highly preferred
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
