Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT PMO - Communications Lead for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC . Hybrid: 2-3 day/week in the office.
As a member of the US Software End of Life PMO team, the IT PMO - Communications Lead is responsible for managing and leading critical communications across the IT PMO particularly as it relates to the US Software End of Life Program. This role plays a key part in overseeing the communication plan, producing senior-level presentations, and ensuring effective delivery of program updates and status reports.
You will play a critical role in leading IT Program communications for a high-profile initiative in a prestigious financial services environment. Responsibilities :
Manage Communication Plan : Develop, maintain, and execute the program's comprehensive communication strategy.
Lead Production of Presentations : Create and deliver weekly and monthly Management Information (MI) presentations to key stakeholders including ACS, Executive Committee (ExcCo), and Steering Committee (SteerCo).
Status Report Management : Coordinate and manage the weekly process of collecting status reports from application teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
PMO Support : Provide support for PMO Delivery Assurance activities, ensuring alignment with the overall program strategy.
Required Skills :
Experience : 10+ years in Technology for an Investment Bank, with exposure to IT project/program management and communications.
Skills : Strong experience with SDLC, IT controls, and operational controls.
Technical Proficiency : High-level proficiency with MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Project.
Must have advanced to expert level presentation and PowerPoint skills
Graphics and Layout : Expertise in creating PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership, with a strong sense of design, ergonomics, and layout.
Soft Skills :
Interpersonal Skills : Ability to effectively communicate and interact within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Team Player : Collaborative, works well with seasoned professionals.
Flexibility : Adaptable, with the ability to pivot as needed in a changing environment.
Attention to Detail : Precision in delivering accurate information and maintaining data integrity.
