.NET/Splunk Developer

Job Description

The .NET developer codes software applications based on business requirements. The work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The .NET developer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Familiarity with Up To Date .NET/.NET Core framework & related technologies

5+ years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development using .NET core and .NET frameworks

2-3 years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps

Experience with working in Agile environment

Good Knowledge on Splunk Architecture, Administration and its Components (Must have)

Good understanding of On-Premise and Splunk Cloud (Must Have)

Hands on experience in writing Splunk queries (Must Have)

Good Knowledge on Parsing, Indexing, Searching concepts (Must Have)

Good Experience in creating Data Models and Dev-ops experience (Must Have).

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Previous experience in remediation / upgrade / migration projects

Strong analytical and issue resolution capabilities

Strong presentation and communication skills

Strong client interfacing skills

Nice to Have

In depth experience with Splunk Knowledge objects, (Saved Searches, Lookups).

Good knowledge about Splunk index Cluster and Search Head Cluster environment.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $40-45.25/hour.  This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
