Job Type: Freelance/Contract (2 3 Weeks, with potential for more work)
Responsibilities:
Integrate Git with the client's AWS environment to automate deployments.
Set up a deployment pipeline (CI/CD) to ensure smooth and automated code deployments.
Configure and deploy our Next.JS web application on the server.
Set up and maintain Docker containers, ensuring they are running on specific ports (3000, 8042, 4242).
Deploy and configure Python APIs on the server.
Point the domain provided by the client to our server and ensure the DNS is correctly configured.
Ensure the web application, Docker containers, and Python scripts are running automatically without manual intervention (using PM2 or a similar tool).
Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize server and application performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
Proficiency in Git and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in Docker containerization and management.
Experience deploying Next.JS applications.
Solid knowledge of Python and setting up Python APIs.
Familiarity with Nginx or similar web servers for domain pointing and DNS configuration.
Experience with process management tools like PM2 to automate running applications/scripts.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of server performance monitoring and optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
