Job Requirements / Description
Summary:
Work with researchers and engineers in the field of image/video/graphics processing. Help turn ideas into software prototypes. Able to work independently and create software with comprehensive test coverage and cross-platform build support.
Job responsibilities:
Work independently to turn image/video processing, graphics rendering algorithms into software implementations.
Create/maintain build and test coverage for software projects.
Help conduct experiments for compression research. Write scripts and tools to visualize and analyze data.
Basic Qualifications:
Proficient in C/C++. At least 5 years of coding experience.
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering required.
Experience working with image, video and/or graphics pipeline.
Familiar with source control systems (Git, Mercurial, etc).
Preferred Qualifications (one or more is preferred)
Experience working with internals of image/video/graphics processors (resizers/color converters/filters) and/or codecs (JPEG, H.264, H.265, VP9, AV1).
Experience with 3D graphics pipeline and 3D data (mesh, point cloud).
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
