Description:
Markon's partner company is seeking a Data Analyst to support and Intelligence Customer by processing and analyzing data to help drive informed business decisions. In this role a successful candidate will work closely with senior executives to identify data needs and produce actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Processing:
Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external sources.
Clean, organize, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Data Analysis:
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and generate insights.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
Present analytical findings and insights to non-technical audiences.
Data Integrity and Quality Assurance:
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and validation checks.
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with senior executives
Experience producing briefing materials for senior executives or strategic comms background
Advanced PowerPoint skills
Familiarity with government budget process a plus
Familiarity with portfolio management a plus
Salary Range:
USD $(phone number removed) - USD $(phone number removed) /Yr.
