The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking to fill a Full-Time Technical Product Manager, Service Desk Lead, and Cyber Defense Operator (GG-2210-13), to work for Platform One ((url removed)) located at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at JBSA in San Antonio, TX.

There are three different positions:

1. Iron Bank Technical Product Manager – Supports the Iron Bank value stream product owner to lead a team of contracted subject matter experts to build and operate various Iron Bank products. More info about Iron Bank: (url removed)

2. Service Desk Lead – Supports the P1 Common Services value stream to lead a team of contractors who takes and handles technical service incidents from Platform One users.

3. Cyber Defense Operator – Supports P1’s active cyber defense operations in the cloud. This position must be in San Antonio, TX to support classified operations. More info about the Cybersecurity: (url removed)

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007In this position you will serve as a Platform One Technical Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Service Desk Lead, and Cyber Defense Operator responsible for aligning and prioritizing your team’s work to meet objectives at the program, Air Force, and DoD levels. You'll collaborate with or lead a scrum team to schedule and track work, ensuring continuous delivery of software while maintaining a safe work environment. Your responsibilities include defining software acceptance criteria, developing DevSecOps processes, and creating software automations. You will also address concerns or conflicts, provide feedback on contractor performance, and contribute to technical requirements, program roadmaps, and industry best practices.

•This position is designated by the Air Force as a testing designated position under the Air Force Civilian Drug

•Develop user personas, use cases, and related value stream mapping of IT systems and intermediate users
•Understanding of IT systems and software to evaluate new security methods, check if new projects are practical, and ensure that information systems work well with existing technology
•Knowledge of how different operations and weapon systems work to effectively manage systems and applications used in various operational scenarios
•Ability to keep up with new technology trends and anticipate future needs, as well as the skill to plan, organize, and lead teams and functions within an organization
•Ability to breakdown use cases into user stories and then prioritize the work with the software development team
