DPP is seeking a Sr. System Testing Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Work arrangement:
Onsite or partial onsite preferred.
W2 position; 6 months
USA Residency requirement: Contingent Personnel who are foreign nationals have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last (5) years prior to assignment to Company’s applicable government contract.
Summary:
Develop Test Suites including functional tests.
Develop Testing Matrix for manual validation and testing.
Testing and validation at least twice a week after hours. This is required after deployments and maintenance changes.

Minimum required work experience:
7 years of IT experience including experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.
Job/class description:
Provide service for multiple clients. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities. Perform quality checks across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.
Perform application testing analysis and lead activities that may include leading the development of test plans, cases, scenarios, and matrices, attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes.
Create test cases, execute testing, and document results. Define and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status. Lead process improvement initiatives related to testing methodologies and techniques. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve operational workflows.
Provide service for multiple clients, which may include onsite service where needed. Facilitate and lead meetings with customers to understand and resolve technical issues. Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience developing Automated Tests for Web-based Applications
Experience developing JUnit Unit Tests, Selenium functional Tests (Java) and Performance Load Testing using JMeter type tools or CloudTest type platform.
Experience with Static Code Analysis Tools like SonarQube Experience using and configuring Jenkins pipeline
Manual Testing & Validation of Use Cases and Scenarios Validation & Testing of data changes.
API testing using automated programs or Application calls.
Experience and fluency using GitHub
Strong analysis skills.
Skill in testing data creation and manipulation.
Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.
Skill in negotiation and/or influencing business or technical partners.
Ability to write complex test cases/scripts.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to document complex problems and assist in their resolution.
Ability to understand functional connections between applications.
Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.
Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban Project Management Methodologies.
Experience presenting to stakeholders during Sprint Reviews Communicate with Developers, Product Owner, Stakeholders and management to track report of defects and test results.
Ability to use standard office equipment.

8-9 member Web Development Team running an Agile/Sprint-based Development Life Cycle.

Required education/equivalencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)
