Position:
Title: IT Support Supervisor

Location: Redwood City, CA (hybrid)

 

 

Reporting to the IT Support Director, the IT Support Supervisor, will manage the local IT team working at our Headquarters in Redwood City. This role will serve as an escalation point for complex issues for the IT Support Analysts working with our Senior and Executive Management Team. We manage the Windows 11 laptops using Intune and Autopilot, and Macs using JAMF. The role will also involve helping manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra/Azure infrastructure. 

 

What you will do:
Escalations: Work as an escalation point for complex issues from other IT Support Analysts.

Process Improvement: Work on IT process improvement leveraging the ITIL Framework.

ITIL Ticketing System: Monitoring our ITIL based IT ticketing system to ensure that all urgent IT tickets get resolved in good time.

Documentation: Help co-ordinate and maintain IT Support documentation.

End User Knowledge Base: Be responsible for IT Support Internal SharePoint Resource and end user knowledge base.

General Support: Assists with general IT support analyst activities as needed such as set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS computers, inventory of all hardware and software resources and parts.

What makes you an ideal candidate:
Demonstrated understanding of IT process (ITIL) and ability to implement and improve

Understanding of ticket tools, workflows, and procedures

Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people

4 years setup, configuration, troubleshooting of hardware and software (Windows and Mac OS)

Experience working with O365, SharePoint, MS Teams, MFA and Office etc.

Ideally some knowledge of JAMF for Mac or Microsoft InTune

Some knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and related network services

Some knowledge of Active Directory and Entra concepts and administration
