Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Developer and Architect with deep expertise in IBM FileNet P8 to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing FileNet-based ECM solutions for our clients across various industries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value.

ECM Solution Architecture: Design and architect ECM solutions using IBM FileNet P8, including FileNet Content Engine, Application Engine, and related technologies.
Custom Development: Develop custom FileNet-based applications, workflows, and components using Java, JavaScript, and IBM Case Manager.
Solution Implementation: Lead the configuration and deployment of IBM FileNet P8 solutions including Document Management, Records Management, Workflow, and Case Management.
System Integrations: Develop integrations between FileNet P8 and other enterprise systems
Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimizations in the ECM platform, ensuring scalability and reliability of the FileNet solution.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior team members, driving best practices in ECM solution delivery.
Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate progress and challenges.
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and test plans.
Experience: 7-10 years of experience in ECM solution development and architecture, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in IBM FileNet P8.
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of IBM FileNet P8 (Content Engine, Application Engine, Process Engine).
Proficiency in developing FileNet-based solutions using Java, JavaScript, and IBM Case Manager.
Experience with IBM Content Navigator, IBM Content Search Services, and FileNet APIs.
Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST).
ECM Concepts: Solid understanding of ECM concepts such as Document Management, Workflow, Records Management, and Case Management.
Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Consulting Experience: Experience working in a client-facing consulting environment is highly preferred.
Certifications: IBM FileNet certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other ECM platforms like OpenText, OnBase, Alfresco, Nuxeo, or SharePoint.
Familiarity with cloud-based ECM solutions and container-based architectures
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $125,000 to $202,730. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
