Network security engineer with Zscaler

Charlotte, NC

Contract on W2/C2C

Technologies: Zscaler Web Security, Forcepoint Next Gen Firewall, Charles proxy, Firewall Implementation

Job Description:

The contractors will be responsible for designing and implementing an IP whitelisting solution for externally6 hosted applications with local authentication using Zscaler and various firewall technology.

Each must possess excellent communications skills to work with application vendors who must implement source IP filtering (URL changes); certificate changes, firewall rules, etc. as well as less technical BISOs and application development managers.

They must understand the Zscaler product and how PZENs work as well as Zscaler cloud-based security / load balance / resiliency / configure traffic / etc.

Must understand firewall, secure access as well as be familiar with methods to maintain the integrity of perimeter security from unauthorized access. Further, they will work with network engineers.

Must be self-starters; able to work independently and drive efforts. Will work with project manager.
