Position Overview:

Senior IT Specialist who is fluent in Spanish and brings experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can serve as the first point of contact for all technical issues, from beginning to resolution.

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded technical skillset, including experience with Windows, iOS, and handheld devices, along with familiarity with system procurement and lifecycle management.

 

Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for all technical issues, managing them from start to finish, and coordinating with other resources when needed.

Provide desktop support for a primarily Windows environment, with a significant Mac population, and ensure all devices are functioning properly.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for users across warehouse, distribution center, and executive-level environments.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes using Active Directory, including account setup, hardware provisioning, and software installation.

Manage IT assets, including procurement, lifecycle management, and inventory tracking.

Troubleshoot conference room setups and provide support for meeting technology.

Gain familiarity with green screen systems (IBM i, Client Access) to execute basic commands; training will be provided if necessary.

Support handheld devices used in warehouse operations.

Use helpdesk ticketing systems like SolarWinds (or similar) to track and resolve support requests efficiently.

Make real-time decisions during production issues to minimize downtime, ensuring smooth operations without needing constant approval.

 

Required Qualifications:

Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.

Proven experience in desktop support, particularly within warehouse or distribution center environments.

3-4+ years of relevant working experience

Ability to interface effectively with executive-level staff and provide responsive service.

Knowledge of Windows and iOS platforms, with hands-on experience in both.

Experience with green screen systems (IBM i, Client Access) is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Understanding of Active Directory for user account management and system access.

Experience using helpdesk ticketing systems like SolarWinds or similar.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve conference room equipment issues.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act decisively during production issues.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a distribution center environment is highly desirable.

Basic understanding of system procurement and IT lifecycle management.

CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications.

Familiarity with handheld devices is preferred
