Project Overview
NYPA is currently using SAP ERP, Business Warehouse, Enterprise Portal and Business Object systems as transaction and reporting systems. SAP systems are interfacing with multiple other applications at NYPA like Maximo, Kyriba, SuccessFactors etc. NYPA has also implemented SAP SaaS solutions like Concur, Blackline, Ariba, SuccessFactors etc. There is aways a backlog for Enhancements/projects. We are looking for ABAP developer to help us address emerging SAP enhancement/issues from business.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Strong ABAP programming skills in SAP.
Must have ABAP programming experience for different modules like SD, FI, HR, MM, FI, etc.
Experience on developing Adobe Forms is required. • Good to have EP Portal Development skills.
SAP Workflow knowledge required. • Be able to adapt to emerging technologies within SAP.
Understand the business strategy of a particular function/area and work with the team to define business requirements.
Work at the highest technical level of competence in all phases of SAP client/server enterprise application activities.
Oversee, define, and monitor critical path activities and resolve issues or escalate issues to the Manager as needed.
Drive the design and implementation of new business processes with organizational structure and required SAP configuration.
Meet with user areas to determine production requirements, incident reporting, and problem areas.
Prepare and analyze detailed specifications from which programs and systems will be written, covering each aspect of the development project, including designing, prototyping, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting.
Skills
Expertise in SAP ABAP with various modules of SAP like MM, HR, FI and CCS is a major plus
Experience with IDOC ,EDI methodology
Expertise in Object Oriented programming
SAP BW experience is a plus
Education & Certifications
Master's degree or equivalent years of experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP as an administrator/developer
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as SAP ABAP programmer
Good to have SAP HANA development certification
Work hours and location:
Monday through Friday 7.5 hour work day with .5 hour unpaid lunch Paid for time worked only; there are no paid holidays, vacation, or sick days. Overtime is not permitted unless authorized in advanced.
Contingent worker is required to badge in and out of the turnstiles located in the lobby for all daily entrances and exits.
