Job Description: In Local Market (Hybrid)
Installs and maintains operating systems and related software to ensure stable performance.
Job Duties: Evaluates system specifications, input and output processes, and working parameters for hardware and software compatibility. Troubleshoots networking and operating system problems.
Must be familiar with shell and kernel-level programming and system-specific requirements. Researches and recommends innovative and possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Experience and Education: Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Information Technology
· Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in an infrastructure support role, preferably a technical leadership position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Experience supporting a multi-location enterprise environment or 2000+ users
· Experience performing administrative, maintenance and troubleshooting functions within a multi-platform, enterprise environment including:
· Server and Directory Services
· Active Directory
· Windows Server
· VMware
· Exchange
· Office365 Suite
· SharePoint
· Dell Server Platform
· Cisco UCS Platform
· EMC Data Protection Suite Backup Infrastructure
· SCCM
· Disaster Recovery
· Public and Private Cloud Management (Preferred)
· AWS
· Knowledge of leading industry technologies with a strong knowledge of IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-platform environment
· Knowledge of PowerShell or VBScript a plus.
