Disaster Recovery Solutions Architect
Summary
Conexess Group is aiding a well known Fortune 500 client in their search for a Disaster Recovery Solutions Architect. This is an immediate contract opening and this person can work 100% remote on Eastern Standard Time. The Disaster Recovery Solutions Architect is responsible for crafting disaster recovery-specific solutions across global business groups, aligned with TOGAF ADM Framework. Key tasks include designing DR solutions, developing architecture blueprints, and leading engineering teams in implementation.
A Day in the Life
• Design and develop effective DR solutions that meet business requirements
• Develop architecture blueprints and documentation in alignment with the TOGAF ADM Framework
• Lead engineering teams in the implementation of the solutions design
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure compute and storage solutions.
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix, KVM Hypervisor solutions
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Leverage interpersonal skills to garner participation and collaboration from various groups and partners without having direct decision-making control.
• Follow the TOGAF Architecture Development Model, using artifacts and documentation to support architecture solutions.
