How you’ll Make an Impact

The Security Engineer is responsible for enhancing the security of Epsilon’s software applications by implementing secure coding practices, conducting security testing through application security platforms, and collaborating with development teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the development process.

What you’ll Achieve

In this role, you will achieve a fortified security posture for Epsilon's software applications by implementing secure coding practices and conducting thorough security testing. You will significantly reduce vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies, while educating and training development teams on best practices. By continuously improving and expanding our security platforms and fostering strong collaborative relationships, you will create a more secure, efficient, and proactive development environment, ultimately ensuring the integrity and safety of Epsilon's software applications.

What you’ll Do

Maintain and update Epsilon’s application security platforms.

Perform detailed analysis of security reports to identify and manage vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with security policies.

Complete monthly reporting based on assigned KPIs.

Educate and train teams on Epsilon’s security policies and application security platforms.

Enhance security by onboarding new teams and applications to security platforms.

Build trust relationships with teams to effectively achieve security goals.

Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, supports effective documentation and reporting.

Scripting and Infrastructure Tools: Strong knowledge of Bash scripting and tools like Ansible and Terraform for provisioning cloud-based infrastructure components demonstrates your ability to automate and manage complex environments.

Team Communication: Excellent team communication skills enhance your ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.

Additional Experience: Experience working as a software developer and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts further enrich your ability to address security challenges and contribute valuable insights.
