Network Administrator (Ruckus Fastlron & Extreme Wireless experience required!) – 100% ONSITE IN COLUMBIA, SC.
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Network Administrator with extensive expertise in LAN, WAN, and Ruckus FastIron & Extreme Wireless network equipment.
Required Qualifications of the Network Administrator:
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
Must be able to be ONSITE in Columbia, SC every day.
COMPLETED Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Experience with:
Ruckus (Prev. Brocade) Network Management
Active Directory Management
Group Policy Object Management
Windows Server Management
Linux Server Management
Microsoft Entra Id
Wireless Network Management
Experience Leading Team Of Network Administrators
Vlan Management
Experience With LAN and WA equipment which should Include Routers, Switches, Cabling, and Troubleshooting Of Physical Layer. (Related Certifications A+ Plus)
Responsibilities of the Network Administrator:
Defines project objectives and scope by reviewing project proposal to determine time frame, available funding, procedures, and various phases of project life cycle for IT Services related projects.
Configure and manage software and hardware for LANs and WANs, with a particular emphasis on Ruckus FastIron and Extreme Wireless network equipment.
Supporting the client’s information security efforts by implementing best practices to safeguard data from intrusion, loss, and corruption.
Direct the activities of a team of network administrators.
Configure and install switches for the internal network and ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the statewide network.
Monitor network activity to maintain peak performance, manage the installation and maintenance of circuits to remote county offices, and oversee the agency’s virtual servers.
Manage Office 365 tenant including Entra and Intune. Ensuring critical files are backed up. On call to address any major networking issues as they occur.
Work Location: ONSITE IN COLUMBIA, SC.
