Sr. Network Engineer – Annapolis, MD
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a long term project, this positions works onsite in Annapolis 3 days a week.
Required Skills
Ten (10)+ years of technical experience in IT networking.
Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field
The following certifications issued within the last four (4) years:
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security
Certification.
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification. (
Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) Certification from Palo Alto Networks.
Job Duties
Designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting computer networks and infrastructure.
Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of a statewide network, utilizing industry best practices for security, disaster recovery and business continuity, change control, and client support.
Developing and analyzing network designs and protocols including prototyping and assessment.
Performing planning, engineering, forecasting and implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems.
Leading and/or assisting in major network projects to support capacity growth, upgrades and new products/features, and integration.
