Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and growing applications within the SAP payroll system
Accountable for developing major technology or common shareable features across several projects
Authors, reviews and approves information, requirements and specification to design and develop solutions for domains within multiple enterprise applications
Architects domain with multiple teams in mind
Develops, designs and implements integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues
Creates functional design documents, system reference guides, process diagrams, training materials, and process workflows
Designs and implements functional and technical solutions for Payroll systems, as requested by business partners
Solves complex issues that arise with system operations
Creates/maintains reporting metrics and procedure documentation, to ensure consistent and accurate handling of problems and ensure SLAs are achieved
Stays abreast of systems technology best practices and changing technologies to maintain domain expertise and make recommendations for enhancements or changes
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
4 years of experience with SAP Payroll development
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
5+ years of experience with SAP Payroll development
2+ years of experience working with IDocs, Proxies, and Webservices
5+ years of functional and technical experience and/or Overpayment Processing
5+ years of experience configuring, developing, and/or troubleshooting PI interfaces
SAP Configuration and/or SAP ABAP certification(s)
Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented ABAP
Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Proficiency in payroll processes, payroll clusters, off-cycle payments, 3rd party remittance, benefits, garnishments, and process models
Experience with SAP Payroll functional application knowledge
Experience with US Tax models
Enhancement Pack experience for ECC 6.0 Enh7 / Netweaver and Java, Javascript, SML, Idoc, Business Connector, and SDLC
Willingness to learn and work outside of the SAP tech stack including in areas such as Java, JavaScript
Experienced in developing data migration programs using BDCs Session Method, Call Transaction and LSMW for uploading of legacy data into SAP system.
