Salary: $117,962 – 153,354
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Project Manager for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. This position will be responsible for the management and execution of classified and unclassified network infrastructure projects for AFOSI and to perform lifecycle management of AFOSI enterprise-wide networking projects to including design, test, analysis, sustainment, and other activities. Collaborates with other project management and cybersecurity counterparts to develop schedules and estimates for projects being supported. Tracks project costs and schedules and develops reports and briefings to keep OSI management informed.

• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Must sign a non-disclosure agreement
• This is a designated drug testing position
• Selectee must undergo an internal background investigation by AFOSI and must be approved for duty by the Commander of AFOSI or the Commander’s designated representative(s).
• Knowledge of a wide range of IT concepts, principles, methods, advancement, policies, and practices in related technical areas; such as IT system performance tools and techniques; IT system testing and evaluation, enterprise architecture, and cyberspace security; and ability to provide expert advice, guidance, and oversight for the execution of command and subordinate unit cyberspace activities.
• Knowledge of the organization’s policy and planning formulation process along with its mission and objectives to prepare IT policies and plans.
• Knowledge of current project management processes and techniques applicable to IT infrastructure projects covering a wide range of technology, customer requirements, and geographic locations.
• Expert knowledge of budgetary processes, cost-benefit analysis methods, and analysis of performance data to prepare persuasive budget recommendations in support of IT requirements.
• Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, review/revise/develop policy, initiate plans for enhancements, and provide management sufficient technical and cost analysis information, through written documentation and oral briefings, to render informed judgements.
• Cyberspace Qualification is a condition of employment. This position includes Cyberspace work as a paramount duty requirement. Requires foundational qualification requirements within 9 months of assignment to a cyberspace work role and resident qualification requirements within 12 months of assignment to a cyberspace work role. Failure to achieve and maintain the proper Cyberspace Qualification may result in removal from this position.
