Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: New Berlin, WI (Onsite)

Overview:
The Automation Engineer will work with Engineered-to-Order (ETO) and Modernization teams to deliver tailored software and hardware solutions for customers.
This role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, software updates, and ensuring equipment meets customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Customize crane controls using existing software modules.
Support factory acceptance, commissioning, and lifecycle of material handling equipment.
Modify PLC software to meet customer needs.
Monitor and develop replacements for obsolete automation equipment.
Resolve control/software issues by collaborating with engineers and service technicians.
Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
Previous experience working in the Manufacturing Industry
Previous experience working with Siemens PLC and HMI programming experience.
Previous experience as an Automation Engineer
Knowledge of variable frequency drives and control systems for material handling devices.
Familiarity with NEC electrical code and OSHA safety requirements.
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Must Have:
Bachelors Degree
Manufacturing Industry Exp.
Automation Engineer Exp.
Siemens PLC & HMI Programming
NEC electrical code & OSHA Safety exp.
Ability to travel up to 25%
