Seeking for a Scrum Master in Austin, TX (Onsite)

Job Description:

As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile practices for development teams working on innovative and customer-focused solutions for a leading e-commerce platform. Your role will involve guiding the team through the Scrum framework, ensuring the continuous delivery of high-quality products, and helping the team achieve its full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and lead all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure all team members are aligned with the project goals.

Support the Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner in managing the product backlog, refining user stories, and setting priorities that align with business objectives.

Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and remove any blockers or impediments that may prevent the team from achieving sprint goals.

Foster Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by guiding the team in reflecting on processes and outcomes during retrospectives and applying lessons learned in future sprints.

Coach and Mentor: Provide coaching to the development team, helping them to self-organize, adopt best practices, and enhance their performance.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and challenges.

Track Progress: Monitor and report on key metrics, such as sprint velocity and burn-down charts, to ensure transparency and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Promote Agile Practices: Advocate for Agile values and principles within the team and organization, staying informed about industry trends and adapting practices as needed.

Qualifications:

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably within the e-commerce domain.

E-commerce Expertise: Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of e-commerce projects, including customer experience, scalability, and security considerations.

Technical Proficiency: Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire Agile teams, driving collaboration and high performance.

Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
