Senior Android SDK Reverse Engineer
Location: Onsite - San Francisco Bay Area, Austin TX or Bothell, WA.  
Principals only. No recruiters or firms.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Android SDK Reverse Engineer to contribute to the analysis and security evaluation of Android Software Development Kits (SDKs). This role requires deep expertise in reverse engineering and Android SDKs to ensure the security and integrity of mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

Reverse engineer Android SDKs to identify vulnerabilities and security flaws.

Conduct detailed analysis of mobile SDKs, libraries, and their integrations.

Lead efforts to decompile, unpack, and analyze SDKs at a code level.

Develop detection strategies and signatures for SDK-related security issues.

Collaborate with security teams to enhance SDK security assessments.

Requirements:

Extensive experience with reverse engineering tools such as Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, and IDA Pro.

Deep knowledge of Android SDKs and mobile software development.

Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and other mobile programming languages.

Experience with Android internals and ELF (native binaries).

5+ years of experience in Android reverse engineering and SDK analysis.

Preferred:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience with vulnerability research and mobile SDK security.
