Role: Cisco Network Engineer with SD WAN, F5 and CCNP and CCIE certifications
Location: NJ/PA (100% on-site)
Duration: 6 Months - Contract to hire

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
Perform network configuration and troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues and ensure smooth operation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
Monitor network performance and capacity to identify and address potential bottlenecks or issues proactively.
Configure and maintain Cisco Prime and Cisco Catalyst Center for network management and monitoring.
Stay updated on the latest Cisco technologies and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain accurate network documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and assist with their professional development.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies or incidents promptly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of relative experience
CCNP and CCIE certification is a plus.
F5 experience and understanding is a nice to have
SD Wan experience
NetScaler is a good to have but not required
Proven experience working with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Hands-on experience with newer Cisco switches and Nexus switches.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Prime and Cisco Catalyst Center.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues.
Experience with network security technologies and best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
