Position Overview: 

Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions to support business objectives including enhancing our business intelligence capabilities. Develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for better decision making. Develop and execute complex queries upon request for data from different functional teams. Present information through reports and visualization.

Responsibilities:
As a Data Management SQL Developer, you will use your SQL and development abilities to perform professional services in support of business intelligence and reporting systems, providing data and reports for data-driven business decisions. You will:

Translate business needs to technical specifications

Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)

Support data analytics platforms

Collaborate with different teams to integrate systems

Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

Create visualizations and reports for requests from different functional teams

Develop and update technical documentation and reporting requirements

Other duties as assigned

 

 

 

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a SQL developer

Proven experience in developing MS SQL and Azure preferred databases for both cloud-based and on-premises environments

3+ years of experience with SQL Databases in Azure environment, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Cosmos DB (or other NoSQL databases)

3+ years of experience working with complex SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and PowerBI

Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements

Functional experience with Microsoft Excel

Familiar with data governance and quality

Capable of troubleshooting common query issues

Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a team

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
