We are looking for talented engineers to join our expanding platform as a service team. Our team is responsible for building the foundation for cloud-based products, leveraging the diverse features and services available through the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
IN THIS ROLE, YOU CAN EXPECT TO…
Play a key role as a Senior Software Engineer on scrum teams focused on developing a Cloud Platform serving industries such as Financial Services, Retail, and Hospitality.
Build and expand the services powering our API ecosystem, solving complex problems for a large community of developers.
Develop large-scale applications using Java (or similar languages), with a focus on high-performance, scalability, and resiliency in a service-oriented environment.
Write clean, well-tested code using continuous delivery methodologies, including automated testing and deployment, to ensure high-quality and reliable software releases.
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Provide technical leadership to other engineers, including mentoring, code reviews, and pair programming.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production systems.
Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and recommend new tools and improvements for cloud infrastructure and software development processes.
