Job Title: Sybase DBA
Location: Manhattan, NY
Duration: 5 Months
Roles and Respoinsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive, end-to-end product security design for the global organization
Establish the overall vision and framework for product security, specifying best practices, standards, and design principles for the product development teams
Guide the development team in creating secure product specifications and ensure security is embedded in the product lifecycle
Conduct system and component-level testing to ensure product security and integrity
Collaborate with teams to perform penetration testing, reverse engineering, embedded security analysis, and exploit development
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of experience as a DBA, with extensive expertise in managing Sybase ASE and Sybase Replication Server environments.
Proven track record in database performance tuning and optimization, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues.
Strong practical experience in database security, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
Proficient in SQL scripting and familiar with scripting for automation of DBA tasks, using database monitoring tools.
Ability to work onsite every day in New York, NY. (Manhattan)
