To design, develop and maintain IT systems/services to ensure high levels of availability and customer satisfaction while optimizing use of IT resources.
Responsibilities:
Designs and develops/implements systems/services which ensure high system availability and maximizes usage of all Information Technology resources and follow IT standards. Ensures timely delivery of new capabilities.
Contributes to the creation of solution development/implementation recommendations. Prepares appropriate documentation. Considers solution impacts across broad IT production environment. Insures appropriate Design Review Board approval.
Designs and develop/implements solutions which ensure high system availability, maximizes usage of all IT resources, and follow IT standards. Ensures timely delivery of new capabilities.
Contributes to the development of processes for monitoring performance and problem determination of developed systems or services and takes corrective actions when necessary in accordance with established IT processes.
Develops detailed technical work plans with estimated tasks and labor hours, monitors progress of project and reports status to management. Adheres to all IT methodology standards.
Works independently with moderate supervision. Seeks guidance in more complex technical situations. Escalates unresolved issues appropriately.
Provides guidance and assistance to other Information Technology staff members in the usage of systems for which he/she has responsibility.
Mentor new developers and oversee development efforts of lower-level teammates (following standards, reviewing submitted documentation, PCI adherence).
Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned or required.
Minimum Wage:
USD $69,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Wage:
USD $(phone number removed)/Yr.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science or related experience.
2+ years’ experience in system design and development, which can include use of Python / GoLang / BASH scripting / “Brace” Languages (C, C++, C#, Java). Note: Requirement is polyglot developer, with primary open-source tooling.
Knowledge of Docker, Microservices, Containerization is a plus.
A strong desire to learn and be curiosity-driven.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
