Pay Range: Negotiable, based upon experience

Position Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
Here’s what to expect as an IT Specialist:

In coordination with the Senior IT Specialist, serve as a frontline technical contact to resolve issues presented to the IT Help Desk, providing exceptional customer service to all end users.

Respond in a consistent and timely manner to end-user requests for assistance with hardware and software issues, network connectivity, telecommunications, and IT training. 

Receive support and guidance from the Senior IT Specialist in triaging, prioritizing, and managing assigned and incoming service requests; ensuring that the requester is aware of the status of request fulfillment timeline(s) and resolution.  

As necessary, apply remote support tools to diagnose and resolve end-user service requests; including the use of applicable contracted services from support vendors.

Maintain logs of all customer service requests (i.e. service tickets received via phone or e-mail).

Collaborate with the IT Team and Director of Administrative Services to problem-solve on-going IT service issues.

Recommend possible process change strategies that will alleviate future service issues.

Assist in the development of end user job aids to anticipate common service requests (i.e. procedural steps to update/change password).

As requested, deliver basic end user hardware and software training curriculum modules.

Perform on-going maintenance of office computing systems and equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other office machines.

Complete project management duties assigned for system implementations and deployments.

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for an IT Specialist:

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required.

Associate’s degree or technical certification within a related area expected.

2 to 5 years of previous job-related experience expected.

Requires valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for travel within service area.

18 years of age.
