Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst role will be responsible for developing and managing the metrics, associated measurement models, and algorithms that allow Primo Water to test and learn the impact of Experience and Marketing strategies across our service lines to maximize long term profit while ensuring a great customer experience.

Working in tandem with the Experience Design & Information Technology teams, you will be a key contributor and owner of expanding Primo Water's CX Program. We are committed to serving our customers and their journey -- this role will be pivotal in transforming the way we engage with our consumers at every step. Specifically, you will help us think like a customer and identify opportunities to attract new customers and deliver a flawless experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

You will work on a myriad of interesting and challenging problems in marketing and customer experience, where you have the opportunity to hone your expertise in Advanced statistics and data mining, deep learning, supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to make a real impact to the world

You will shape the way we understand and interact with existing and prospective customers as part of a dynamic and evolving water industry

As a Data scientist, you will be tasked with leading scientific innovations in developing causal models, experiment measurement and optimization

As a trusted science leader you will get the opportunity to solve some of the most challenging science and business intelligence problems

This role will work closely with scientists and engineers to develop and run statistical models to understand customer behavior and how customers respond to changes in our marketing and our services.

You will collaborate with peer scientists from vendor teams to produce modeling solutions, partner with software developers and data engineers to build end-to-end data pipelines and production code, and have exposure to senior leadership as we communicate results and provide scientific guidance to shape business strategy and roadmap

Build models and tools using technical knowledge in machine learning, statistical modeling, probability and decision theory, and other quantitative techniques

Understand the business drivers and patterns behind large sets of data and develop meaningful analytical solutions

Utilizing code (Python, R, etc.) for analyzing data and building statistical and ML models to solve specific business problems

Improve upon existing methodologies by developing new data sources, testing model enhancements, and fine-tuning model parameters

Lead project plans from a scientific perspective by managing product features, technical risks, milestones and launch plans

Take the lead, drive solutions, and influence change across multiple teams, related by system and/or process

Communicating verbally and in writing to business customers and leadership team with various levels of technical knowledge, educating them about our systems, as well as sharing insights and recommendations

Qualifications:
Qualifications & Behaviors:

BA/ BS Degree required (Business Analytics, Computational Media, Engineering majors preferred)

3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role (Data Analytics, Customer Research, or Process Analysis)

Qualitative and Quantitative research experience

Demonstrated experience with Python or R

Analytical problem-solver with strong business acumen

Ability to develop strategies based on analytical skills and business knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint are non-negotiable)

Experience with data analytics tools (Tableau preferred)

Experience with database query language and programming

Experience with Machine Learning programing
