Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly established company in the grain storage and merchandising industry. Backed by Pinnacle Asset Management, a $6B asset management firm, Viserion Grain was formed in 2021 for the purpose of investing in strategic assets within the grain handling and storage space. Shortly after its formation, Viserion Grain acquired 10 facilities along the Ohio and Mississippi rivers. Viserion Grain has since expanded into non-asset based grain trading, while continuing to grow its asset footprint.
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experience. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 , with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, this positoin is incentive eligible.The company’s corporate office in Denver, Colorado.
This position is primarily responsible for entry of data into various systems related to the Company’s facility business covering barge and vessel transactions.
Responsibilities:
Entering barge transaction information into a 3rd party website and internal Excel spreadsheet
Saving copies of contracts and grade certifications on the network drive
Applying cash and entering barge transactions in the accounting system
Send remittance emails
Other similar tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
2-year or 4-year degree preferred, but not required
General knowledge of accounting processes and ability to reconcile information.
