Role Description:
The GIS Database Admin will support the development of a custom code application development effort for a government client, focusing on integration of geospatial technologies across multiple program areas into a user facing business application.
• Conduct Architecture, Engineering, and operational\administrative efforts required to build and operate Enterprise Geodatabase(s) on top of SQL Server RDBMS.
• Collaborate with GIS specialists, developers, and analysts to design and implement geospatial solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial database-related issues.
• Design, develop, and implement geospatial databases using ESRI's suite of tools (ArcGIS, ArcSDE, etc.).
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
• Design and implement data models, including relational and spatial models, to support geospatial data storage and retrieval.
• Design, develop and test Javascript code to perform data access and updates using developed database(s).
• Use GitHub for source code repository, and Zenhub or Jira for issue tracking

Bachelors / 5+ years of relevant experience
